What is kinesiology?

Kinesiology is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that uses muscle testing to understand imbalances in the body.

It's a simple yet powerful way of listening to what the body is trying to say.

Our bodies respond constantly to stress - physical, nutritional, emotional or environmental. Muscle testing can show where your body may be out of balance and which areas could benefit from support.

Kinesiology combines western anatomy with traditional chinese medicine. Muscle testing is based on chiropratic principles of how muscles and nerves work and connect with the meridian system used in accupuncture, linking organs, energy and emotions.

We look at the body in four main areas:

Structural - Muscles, bones, joints, posture and movement.

Nutritional/Chemical - Nutrition, hydration, hormones and body chemistry.

Emotional - Stress, mood and mindset.

Electrical/Energetic - The body's energy system, like the wiring in a house.

Muscles are connected to organs and their meridians. Each organ links to certain emotions - for example: The stomach with worry, the liver with frustration and the kidneys with fear.

This approach helps us understand how your body, mind and emotions work together to support overall wellbeing.

Kinesiology does not diagnose medical conditions. It works by identifying areas of stress in the body and supporting the body's natural ability to rebalance.
